Grant Town Clerk of the Town of !,.ashpee hereby Certify that the following by-laws under Articles 12 and 15 are true copies as they appeared in the warrant: ARTICLE 12. To see if the Town will vote to create a Council on AginZ and to adopt the foili.n by-law in accordance with the provision of Chapter 40 oection b of the General Lass: Section 1 . The �oard of Selectmen shall appoint a Council on Aging for the purpose of co-ordinating or carrying out pro6rains de- ! signed to meet the problems of the. aging in cooperation with pro- grams of the Commission on !aging established under Chapter 6, Section 73 of the General Laws. r Section 2. The board of Sel.eetmen shall appoint the Council on Aging conz�isting of sevrn M skembers. upon acceptance of this by-law, the Board shall appoint three (3) members for three (3) years, two (2) Members can be re-appointed ,for concurrent terms. i The members, of the Council shall serve without pay. Section 3. Whenever a vacancy shall occur in the membership of the Council, by reason of death, resignation, *nability to act or for any other reason, the vacancy shall be filled by appointment by the Zelectmen for the remainder of the term. Section 4. The Council on Aging at its first annual Meeting and thereafter, annually in April of each year, shall elect from its membership a President , int Vice president, *rid Vice rresident Secretary and Treasurer. Bach of, icer shall hold office until the next annual electti.-,n. in the event a vacancy occurs in any of the offices above, the Council shall hold a special meeting for the purpose of electing one of its members to fill such vacancy. Section 5. The Council shall prepare and submit an annuil report of its activities to the Town and shall send a copy theieof to the Commiazion on Aging. Section 6. The Council may appoint such clerks and other employees as it may require without compensation. Article 15 . To see if the Town will vote to amend the Town Zoning Shy-Law by repealing the existing Zoning By-Laws being Article TT of Chapter 111 of, the Town by-Laws and enacting in their place new Zoning fay-Laws consisting of fourteen sections to- gether with a map of zoning districts all being included in a 33 Page booklet entitles ",ylashpee, 1,-4ass . proposed Zoningby-Laws 1971t" i copies of which are on dile with the Town Clerk and he Secretary.
