The warrants for signature tonight are for the month of October 2020 and total as follows:
$64,252.06 for 40001, $37,836.87 for Asher's Path Apartments, $7,881.00 for HAP, $10,942.57
for Great Cove Community and $49,666.00 for MRVP.
Mrs. Campos reported that all rents are paid at Asher's Path. There are a couple of rent
delinquencies at our other developments. A Fourteen Day Notice to Quit will be served to two
tenants. One resides at the 667-development and one resides at the 705-development.
A motion was made by Kevin Shackett and seconded by Lisa Meizinger to accept the
Treasurer's Report as presented. The motion carried unanimously.
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR'S REPORT & UPDATES:
• Mrs. Campos stated there are no new COVID protocols to report. The Community Room
will remain closed and the sanitizing of the common areas will continue every weekday.
She stated one resident at Asher's Path reported she was COVID-19 positive and will
self-quarantine inside her apartment for fourteen days. Maintenance has provided her with
a 30-gallon trash can for her to place her trash into and they'll dispose of it as needed. All
residents were notified and were reminded to wear a mask when in the common areas of
the building. They were also reminded to wash their hands frequently and to practice
social distancing.
• Mrs. Campos provided a brief update on her transition into the executive director role.
She stated she has scheduled several interviews with potential assistant executive director
candidates and an ad has been placed to fill the vacant assistant property manager position
at Asher's Path Apartments. Mrs. Campos stated she had contacted the town manager via
email to inform him that Mrs. Botsford had retired and she was chosen as the new
director. Mr. Collins did not respond.
• Mrs. Campos informed the members that the final Housing Assistance Program checks
were sent. She informed them that earlier that day, she held a virtual meeting with Gail
Wilson of Mashpee Human Services and Lynne Waterman, Director of the Mashpee
Council on Aging. Ms. Wilson had requested the meeting to obtain information regarding
the Housing Assistance Program because the town is contemplating offering a similar
type of program to its residents. She stated the meeting lasted approximately an hour and
she thinks they received enough information needed to determine whether a similar type
of program is feasible. A brief discussion transpired regarding how the remaining
program funds should be returned to the Community Preservation Committee.
OLD BUSINESS: NONE.
NEW BUSINESS: NONE.
OTHER BUSINESS: NONE.
CORRESPONDENCE/COMMUNICATIONS: Ms. Allen stated she received a letter from
Mrs. Botsford thanking everyone for the retirement dinner thrown in her honor.
