To see if the Town will vote to raise and <br /> appropriate or appropriate from available funds in the trea- <br /> sury the sum of $125.00 for tax title foreclosure expenses or <br /> take any other action thereon. <br /> Action: Upon motion duly made and seconded it was <br /> voted to accept the article, funds to be appropriated from <br /> available funds in the treasury. <br /> Unanimous vote. <br /> Article 42. To see if the Town will vote to authorize the <br /> Assessors to use $2,000.00 of free cash in the Treasury to help <br /> reduce the Town Tax Rate or take any other action thereon. <br /> Action: Upon motion duly made and seconded it was <br /> voted to accept the article as read. <br /> Vote: 31 for, 23 opposed. <br /> Article 43. To see if the Town will vote to continue the <br /> services of the Mashpee Advisory Commission for another <br /> three years beginning April 1, 1954, or take any other action <br /> thereon. <br /> Action: Upon motion duly made and seconded it was <br /> voted to accept the article as read. <br /> Unanimous vote. <br /> Article 44. To see if the Town will vote to raise and <br /> appropriate a sufficient amount of money to purchase two <br /> spinner-type sanding machines for the Highway Department, <br /> Action: Upon motion duly made and seconded it was <br /> voted to raise and appropriate $525.00. <br /> Unanimous vote. <br /> Article 45. To see if the Town will vote to require all <br /> Town elective officers or employees of the Town, whose salary <br /> or salaries exceed $1,600.00 per annum will be required to <br /> work 40 hours weekly on a five day weekly basis, or take any <br /> other action thereon. <br /> Action: Upon motion duly made and seconded it was <br /> voted to be tabled. <br />
