ss <br /> Report of Special Town Meeting <br /> October 18, 1954 <br /> BARNSTABLE, SS: To either of the Constables of the Town <br /> of Mashpee, GREETINGS, <br /> In the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, you <br /> are hereby directed to notify and summons the inhabitants of <br /> the Town of Mashpee, who are qualified to vote in Elections, <br /> to meet at the Town Hall on Monday, the 18th day of October <br /> next at 7:30 P.M. for the following purposes: To act on the <br /> articles.contained in the following Warrant: <br /> Article 1. To see if the Town will vote to abandon the <br /> Old Way,so-called,through the center of Waquoit Park,other- <br /> wise known as Monomoscoy, and accept the ways as laid out in <br /> said Plan of Waquoit Park now on file in the assessors' office, <br /> and will authorize and instruct the Selectmen to take by <br /> purchase or eminent domain in behalf of the Town the lands <br /> or interests in land within the sidelines of said ways, or take <br /> any action thereon. <br /> Action: Voted Unanimous. <br /> Article 2. To see if the Town will vote to accept the road <br /> as laid out at Monomoscoy, and will authorize and instruct <br /> the Selectmen to take by purchase or eminent domain in <br /> behalf of the Town the lands or interests in land within the <br /> sidelines of said ways, or take any action thereon. <br /> Action: Voted as amended. <br /> To see if the Town will vote to accept the road as laid <br /> out by Charles N.
