Action: Upon motion duly made and seconded it was voted to accept the gift of Mr. and Mrs. Schneider of South Orange, New Jersey and that Town Clerk be instructed to send them a letter expressing our gratitude for their gen- erous gift. Unanimous vote. Article 47. To see if the Town will vote to abandon the Old Way,so called,through the center of Waquoit Park,other- wise known as Monomoscoy, and accept the ways as layed out in a plan of Waquoit Park now on file in the Assessors' Office and will authorize the Selectmen to acquire by purchase or take by eminent domain the land necessary for the loca- tion of said ways or take any other action thereon. Action: Upon motion duly made and seconded it was voted to accept the article as read. Vote: 62 for — none opposed. Article 48. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate the sum of $100.00 for acquiring by purchase or eminent domain the land necessary for the location of said ways as laid out on said plan of Waquoit Park as accepted by the Town in the preceding article, or take any other action thereon.
