77 <br /> Article 64. To see if the Town will vote to take by emin- <br /> ent domain, purchase, gift or in any other manner, for <br /> purposes of a public park, recreational grounds or any other <br /> public purpose, a certain parcel of Marsh and upland, with all <br /> the trees, shrubbery and structures thereon, if any, commonly <br /> known as Gooseberry Island, containing some two to three <br /> acres, more or less, situated off shore in South Mashpee, <br /> together with all rights to easements in, and use in common <br /> with others of, a certain well defined roadway about 33 ft. <br /> wide and leading from the main highway to the shore on <br /> mainland opposite the said Island, to appropriate any money <br /> therefore, to determine by whom it shall be spent, and how <br /> it shall be raised or take any other action thereon. <br /> Action: Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was <br /> voted to accept Article 64 as read. <br /> Vote: Teller's count-25 for — none opposed. <br /> Article 65. To see if the Town will vote to raise and <br /> appropriate the sum of $150.00 for acquiring by purchase or <br /> eminent domain the land necessary for the location of said <br /> Gooseberry Island as accepted by the Town in the preceding <br /> article or take any other action thereon. <br /> Action: Upon motion duly made and seconded it was <br /> voted to accept Article 65 as read. <br /> Vote: Teller's count-29 for — none opposed. <br /> Article 66. To see if the Town will vote to instruct the <br /> Selectmen to lay out a parcel of land described as follows: <br /> bounded on the east by Great Flat Pond, on the south by <br /> Vineyard Sound, and on the west by land of Aida Jonas, <br /> northerly by a ditch, running from Great Flat Pond to Sedge <br /> Lot Pond, so called, also the road leading from Great Hay <br /> Road or Great Oak Road, known as the McGreggor Road, to <br /> said parcel of land or take any other action thereon. <br /> Action: Upon motion duly made and seconded it was <br /> voted to accept Article 66 as read. <br /> Vote: Teller's count-28 for none opposed. <br /> i <br />
