88 Article 3. To see if the Town will vote to appropriate from available funds in the treasury the sum of $1,100.00 for two sets of Two-way radios for the Fire Department. Action: Upon motion duly made and seconded it was voted to accept article as read. VOTE 33 None opposed, Article 4. To see if the Town will vote to appropriate from available funds in the treasury the sum of $2,500.00 for a Police Department Cruiser car. Action: Upon motion duly made and seconded it was voted to accept article as read. VOTE 24 One opposed. Article 5. To see if the Town will rescind the vote of Article 44 in the 1955 Annual Town Meeting Warrant in which the Town voted to transfer the Old Stone Trough to the Old Indian Church Cemetery. Action: Upon motion duly made and seconded it was voted to accept article as read. VOTE 22 None opposed. Article 6. To see if the Town will vote to convey the Old Stone Trough to the Parish for the sum of $1.00 or take any other action thereon. Action: Upon motion duly made and seconded it was voted to accept article as read. VOTE 29 None opposed, Article 7. To see if the Town will vote to appoint a committee of five (5) to draw up recommendations for Zon- ing By-Laws or take any other action thereon. Action: Upon motion duly made and seconded it was voted to accept article as read amended as follows: "that the Selectmen be authorized to appoint a committee of five (5) and said members to be chosen from each section of the Town." VOTE 31 2 opposed. Article 8. To see if the Town will vote to name the gift parcel of land presented to the Town of Mashpee by Mr. & Mrs. George Schneider, either Schneider Park, Schneider Landing or take any other action thereon. Action: Upon motion duly made and seconded it was voted to name the property in South Mashpee given to us by Mr. & Mrs. George Schneider, "Schneider Landing". VOTE 39 None opposed. a
