To see if the Town will hear and act upon the <br /> reports of any committees for any purpose the Town may <br /> deem advisable or take any other action thereon. <br /> Action: The first committee to report was the Landing <br /> Committee: Mr. Carl A. Avant speaking in behalf of the <br /> Committee stated there were several tracts of land in view. <br /> A committee was named for the ensuing year namely: Carl <br /> A. Avant, Miner Pederson, and Milton Frye. <br /> The second committee to report under Article 3 was the <br /> Selectmen on zoning. Selectman Leroy M. Aiken reported <br /> that the committee of five members were not chosen in <br /> 1955 but that articles 44 and 47 were inserted in this 1956 <br /> warrant for that purpose. <br /> + <br /> 1 Article 44 was then taken up. Tabled. <br /> Article 47 was taken up. Accepted as read. Voted. <br /> Article 4.
