Dr. Julius Golden conducted 24 dental clinics during <br /> the year. The clinics are very worthwhile and the results are " <br /> now becoming apparent, as the result of Mrs. Dalzell's survey <br /> showed. At a meeting with the dental advisory committee, itl. <br /> was decided to limit dental care to those in the first six grades, <br /> who were not able to afford the services of a private dentist. <br /> This was necessary because of the increase in enrollment in <br /> the school and the limited facility. <br /> 8. Head inspections were done when indicated with fol- <br /> low-up of offenders. <br /> 9. Dr. Alfred Senft conducted two excellent evening meet- <br /> ings on general health and "growing up". Mothers and <br /> daughters met one evening and the fathers with their sons <br /> on another. There were many questions asked and great in- <br /> terest was shown in this project. <br /> 10. Teacher-nurse conferences were held frequently in re- <br /> gard to the children's health status and home visits were o <br /> made when necessary. <br /> It is with sincere regret that we end our service to the <br /> Mashpee schools.
