There were few defects noted which were not al- <br /> ready known to the family doctor. The general health was <br /> ` good and home visits were made when there was a recom- <br /> mendation regarding a defect. <br /> A� <br /> q, 2. Eighty children were given the <br /> pure tone audiometer <br /> test. All failures received necessary follow-up. <br /> i <br /> 3. Seventy-nine were given the Mass. vision test and all <br /> l gip', failures were seen by an ophthomologist. <br /> fiz 4. Dr. Fred Moore gave booster doses of D.P.T. and D.T. to <br /> first and fifth graders whose parents requested it. A very <br /> satisfactory percent of the pupils are now adequately immun- <br /> ized. <br /> r 5. In March, a tuberculin-skin test program was carried <br /> out by Dr. Moore. Ninety-five were tested and all who had a <br /> h positive reaction were followed up with a chest x-ray. <br /> E <br /> 6. Mrs. Alice Dalzell conducted a dental survey of all <br /> children in the school. The results were most encouraging. <br /> i r x <br /> 1" <br />
