99 3
children eat their lunches at the school each day. The cook-
ing facilities are inadequate and praise is due our cafeteria
manager, Mrs. Elretta Pocknett, for providing substantial
meals under most difficult working conditions.
'r
In an effort to be of
greater value to the school, The
Mashpee Parent-Teachers Association was formed. Under the
leadership of its first president, Mr. Elwood O. Mills, the or- w'
ganization has had several interesting and informative
monthly meetings.
The outstanding work outside of the school that is being
carried on by the Girl and Boy Scout leaders is a civic duty
appreciated by all. I wish to commend this group of adults
for their sincere interest in the youth of our community.
In closing, I wish to express my sincere appreciation to
you, the School Committee, our devoted teachers, Mrs. Mar-
guerite Kendall, our school nurse, Dr. Julius Golden, our
school dentist, Mr. George Green, our custodian, and to all
with whom I work for their continued support and cooper-
ation.
Respectfully submitted,
KENNETH C. COOMBS
Principal
