To see if the Town will assume liability in r '! the manner provided by Section 29 of Chapter 91.of the Gen- y eral Laws, as most recently amended by Chapter 5, Acts of 1955, for all damages that may be incurred by work to be a performed by the Department of Public Works of Massachu- & Kr setts for the improvement, development, maintainance and protection of tidal and non-tidal rivers and streams, harbors, " tidewaters, foreshores and shores along a public beach, out- side of Boston Harbor including the Merrimack and Connec- ticut Rivers, in accordance with Section 11 of Chapter 91 of 1 l; the General Laws, and authorize the Selectmen to execute and deliver a bond of indemnity therefore to the Common- wealth. To see if the Town will vote to raise and ap- propriate the sum of $250.00 to be paid to the Cape Cod Hos- pital for a free bed in accordance with section 74 of Chapter l i 111 of the General Laws or take any other action thereon. To see if the Town will accept the layout of a Town Way known as Mashpee Neck Rd. extending from the Old Cotuit Rd. to the Town Landing at the Cherry Tree, so 9`f called, and will authorize and instruct the Selectmen to take by purchase or eminent domain in behalf of the Town the t'J! land or interest in land, within the sidelines of said layout . for this purpose.
