Firefighter/Paramedic Scott <br /> Thomas,a resident of Sandwich,joined the Department <br /> on February 23, 2015 and Firefighter Matt Spears, a <br /> resident of Bourne,joined the Department on March <br /> r <br /> 24,2015. <br /> Operations <br /> During 2015, our Fire & Rescue Department <br /> responded to 3,616 emergency incidents,compared to <br /> x 3,233 responses in 2014. This represents over an <br /> 11.5% increase in calls for service from 2014. We <br /> responded to 2,409 Emergency Medical calls with <br /> 1,270 of those qualified as Advance Life Support <br /> (ALS) calls. This represents a 10% increase in <br /> Advance Life Support(ALS)calls for 2015. <br /> 101 <br />
