FY 2015 Highlights - Our Year in Numbers The Planning Board met fifteen (15) times in <br /> 2015 and used meeting time to act on special permits, <br /> Municipal (Mashpee) Borrowers 9,102 special permit modifications,approval of performance <br /> Total Borrowers 16,218 guarantees,road takings,Definitive Subdivision plans, <br /> and Approval Not Required (ANR) plans. The <br /> Total Circulation 220,646 Planning Board also held public hearings on road name <br /> changes and zoning amendments regarding buffers, <br /> Number of Children's Programs 330 micro-breweries, accessory apartments, signage, and <br /> Attendance Children's Programs 7,118 the Open Space Incentive Development Bylaw. In <br /> partnership with the Conservation Commission, the <br /> Number of Adult Programs 201 Planning Board secured a recommendation for funding <br /> Attendance Adult Programs 628 from the Community Preservation Committee for the <br /> Mashpee Greenway Quashnet River Footbridge and <br /> Number of Volunteers 51 Trails.The goal of the Quashnet River Footbridge and <br /> Total Volunteer Hours 2,676 Trails Project is to construct trails to and a footbridge <br /> across the Quashnet River to improve access for the <br /> Meeting Room Use 2,021 Meetings public to the river and surrounding open space. This <br /> effort is part of the Mashpee Greenway project,a local <br /> Total Hours Library Open 2,054 initiative of the Mashpee Planning Board to connect <br /> existing open space with the commercial and <br /> community resources in Mashpee with a series of new <br /> and improved bike paths, sidewalks, and trails.
