Article 16 <br /> To see if the Town will vote to amend the zoning bylaw by adding a new Subsection 174- <br /> 25.H.(10) to read as follows: <br /> "(10) Parking or storage for more than 30 days of tracked / tired material handling and earth- <br /> moving vehicles and other construction equipment and any other vehicles not eligible for <br /> unrestricted travel over public roads, or of over-the-road trailers, storage/shipping containers, <br /> temporary free-standing buildings or construction trailers or similar construction-related <br /> equipment, on any residentially-zoned parcel for which a building permit has not been received <br /> or has lapsed, or on a non-residential property on which a building permit has not been received <br /> or has lapsed on which said storage has not been specifically permitted by the Town, or parking <br /> or storage for more than 30 days of said vehicles or equipment within a public or private street <br /> layout which is not actively under construction pursuant to a subdivision approval, or other valid <br /> permit issued by the Town or the Commonwealth." <br /> and to indicate by no designation under all zoning district columns that such use is not permitted, <br /> or take any other action relating thereto. <br /> Submitted by the Planning Board <br /> Explanation: This article is intended to prohibit long-ten'n storage of construction. vehicles and <br /> equipment not related to active construction sites or not otherwise specifically permitted. <br /> *.i A <br /> The Board of Selectmen and the Finance Committee recommend approval. <br /> Planning Board voted at a Public Hearing held on October 5, 2005 4-0 to recommend <br /> approval. <br /> Motion made by Wayne Taylor. <br /> Motion: I move Article 16 be voted as printed in the warrant, except to add the word <br /> Commercial before the phrase over the road trailers and except for the phrase "or take any other <br /> action relating thereto". <br /> wit <br /> 'N <br /> Motion made to dispense witn reading of article. <br /> Motion to dispense with reading of article passes at 8:42 PM <br /> Motion passes unanimously at 8:45 PM <br /> Article 17 <br /> To see if the Town will vote to authorize the Board of Selectmen to acquire from the <br /> Commonwealth Electric Company, by gift, purchase or eminent domain, the fee interest, or such <br /> other interest as the Selectmen may deem necessary and appropriate, in the parcel of real <br /> property situated on the westerly side of Orchard Road, comprising one thousand four hundred <br /> square feet, more or less, being a portion of the land identified, as "Parcel 2" in the deed dated <br /> 17 <br />
