May 1, 1963, recorded at the Barnstable County Registry of Deeds in Book 1199, Page 497, to <br /> authorize the Selectmen to negotiate and execute any agreements or instruments necessary to <br /> complete this transaction, or take any other action related thereto. <br /> Submitted by the Board of Selectmen <br /> Explanation: This article authorizes the Board of Selectmen to acquire by gift a parcel of land <br /> owned by Commonwealth Electric needed to layout, and construct the signalization of the Route <br /> 28/Orchard Road intersection. <br /> The Board of Selectmen and the Finance Committee recommend approval. <br /> Motion made by Don Myers. <br /> Motion: I move Article 17 be voted as printed in the warrant, except for the phrase "or take any <br /> other action relating thereto". <br /> Motion passes unanimously at 8,1:46 PMO <br /> Article 18 <br /> To see if the Town will vote to amend the Zoning By-law by adding a reference to footnote 22 in <br /> the heading of the "Front" column under "Minimum Building Setback to of Lines" in the <br /> Section 174-31 Land Space Requirements Table and adding the following new footnote 22 to the <br /> footnotes to said Table: <br /> "22 Minimum front building setback within the Mashpee Center Overlay District shall be 20 <br /> feet and maximum allowed building setback for the principal structure on a lot shall be 40 feet." , <br /> or take any other action relating thereto. <br /> Submitted by Planning Board <br /> Explanation: This article would correct a duplication of footnote numbering in the dimensional <br /> requirements table of the Zoning By-law which was created by a petition article approved at the <br /> October 2002 Town Meeting, which inadvertently replaced a previously approved footnote 20 <br /> (now proposed as footnote 22) with a different footnote 20. The footnote proposed provides for <br /> reduced setbacks (20 ft. minimum, 40 ft. maximum) in the Mas,hpee Center Overlay ;one, and <br /> was previously adopted under Article 29 of the October 1999 Town Meeting. <br /> The Board of Selectmen and the Finance Committee recommend approval. <br /> Planning Board voted at a Public Hearing held on October 5, 2005 4-0 to recommend <br /> approval. <br /> Motion made by John Cahalane. <br /> 18 <br />
