Motion to dispense with reading of article passes at 8*.48 PM <br /> Motion passes unanimously at 8-.49 PM. <br /> Article 20 <br /> To see if the Town will vote to amend the Zoning By-law by amending the third sentence of the <br /> first paragraph Section 174-38 to read as follows: <br /> "Any other required parking stalls may be nine (9) feet in width, if approved by the permitting <br /> authority, where it is demonstrated that the use served will not involve high parking turnover, the <br /> use of shopping carts, or frequent use by large vehicles such as pickup trucks, vans or <br /> commercial vehicles, except that on-street parallel parking spaces may be eight (8) feet in width <br /> (not including any portion of travel lanes, gutters, curbs or berms) when adjacent to travel, lanes <br /> of at least 10 feet in width" , or take any other action relating thereto. <br /> Submitted by Planning the Board <br /> Explanation,., This article would clarify that the required 8, foot width of on-street parallel <br /> parking spaces is in addition to the width of any adjacent travel lanes, gutters, curbs or berms. <br /> The Board of Selectmen and the Finance Committee recommend approval. <br /> Planning Board voted at a Public Hearing held on October 5, 20�O�5 4-0 to recommend <br /> approval. <br /> Motion made by George Green. <br /> Motion: I move Article 20 be voted as printed in the warrant, except for the phrase "or take any <br /> other action relating thereto". <br /> Motion passes unanimously at 8,,,5,0 PM* <br /> Article 21 <br /> To see if the Town will vote to amend the zoning by-law by replacing the current language of <br /> Subsection 174-79.B. (2) with the following: <br /> "(2) Beginning at the northernmost comer of the parcel shown on the FY 2004 Mashpee <br /> Assessors' Maps as Map 25, Block 1, which is also at a corner of the Mashpee / Sandwich town <br /> line; <br /> Thence southerly along a straight line to the westernmost comer of Map 26, Block 10; <br /> Thence southerly along a straight line to the southwest corner of Map 27, Block 22: <br /> Thence southerly along a straight line to the northernmost corner of Map 34, Block 8; <br /> Thence southerly along a straight line to the northernmost comer of Map 43, Block 3; <br /> Thence southeasterly along a straight line to the southernmost corner said parcel; <br /> Thence southeasterly in a straight line to the northern intersection of the property line of Map 5 1, <br /> Block 24; <br /> 20 <br />
