Motion made by Kenneth Marsters. <br /> Motion.- I move Article 29 be voted as printed in the warrant with the exception of the phrase, <br /> "or take any other action relating thereto". <br /> Motion passes at 9:09 p.m. <br /> Article 30 <br /> To see if the Town will vote to amend Mashpee Code, Chapter 120, Section 4.5.1, to read <br /> Chapter 120, Section 120-3, or take any other action relating thereto. <br /> Submitted by the Town Clerk <br /> Explanation: The original bylaw amendment article was submitted by petition back at the <br /> October Annual Town Meeting with the incorrect bylaw number. This article is simply <br /> correcting the bylaw number. <br /> Motion made by Don Myers. <br /> Motion: I move Article 30 be voted as printed in the warrant with the exception of the phrase, <br /> "or take any other action relating thereto". <br /> Motion passes at 9:09 p.m. <br /> Article 31 <br /> To see if the Town will vote to accept Massachusetts General Law 60A, §1, or take any other <br /> action relating thereto. <br /> Submitted by the Town Clerk <br /> Explanation: In 1991 the Town of Mashpee voted to accept MGL, Chapter 60, §2, which <br /> allowed the Town the ability to grant tax exemptions for vehicles owned and registered to former <br /> prisoners of war. Chapter 60A, §1, allows the Town to, offer this same exemption to the <br /> surviving spouses. <br /> Motion made by John Cahalane. <br /> Motion: I move Article 31 be voted as printed in the warrant with the exception of the phrase, <br /> "or take any other action relating thereto". <br /> Motion passes unanimously at 9:10 p.m. <br /> 18 <br />
