Article 41 To see if the Town will vote to amend the Subsection 174-39 of the Zoning By-law by replacing the current requirement for number of parking spaces shown in the table in said Subsection for motels, hotels and inns with the following two categories: "Motels, hotels and inns without restaurant, lounge or meeting function facilities— I V2 for each rental unit Motels, hotels and inns with restaurant, lounge or meeting function facilities in the same building —2 1/2 for each rental unit", or take any other action relating thereto. Submitted by Planning Board Explanation: The current requirement for parking for hotels, motels and inns greatly exceeds actual parking needs for such facilities as indicated by the Institute of Transportation Engineers "Parking Generation" guide (2nd Edition .
