Assessors' Maps as Map 62, Block 67, located between Route 28, Sampson's Mill Road, Orchard Road and the <br /> Willowbend development, to the Mashpee VFW Post #5489 for the purpose of securing approval under 3 10 <br /> CMR Section 15.216 of an "aggregation plan" related to approval of a septic system intended to service the <br /> proposed VFW facilities located on a portion of that same parcel which was leased to the VFW by authority of <br /> the vote under Article 24 of the October 5,, 199�2 Town Meeting, and to enter into contracts or agreements in <br /> connection with said lease, restriction or easement and execute any and all instruments as may be necessary on <br /> restriction or easement- and finally, to authorize the Selectmen, if <br /> behalf of the Town to effectuate said lease, I <br /> necessary,, to petition the General Court for special legislation authorizing the Town to enter into said lease, <br /> restriction or easement notwithstanding any provisions of the Mass. General Laws to the contrary; or take any <br /> other action relating thereto. <br /> Submitted by the Board of Selectmen <br /> Explanation: This article would authorize the Board of Selectmen to grant a lease, development <br /> restriction or conservation easement, whichever is most appropriate, to the Mashpee VFW Post on a parcel of <br /> land in addition to that previously leased to the VFW. This action.is necessary to allow the VFW to construct a <br /> large enough septic system to serve its proposed building and meet the 440 gallons per acre limit of wastewater <br /> discharge in "Zone 11" recharge areas of public supply wells. The property lies within Zone 11 of the Mashpee <br /> Water District's Quaker Run well, which is located on the same parcel.. <br /> Motion made by Kenneth Marsters. <br /> Motion: I move Article 28 be voted as printed in the warrant, with the exception of the phrase, "or take any <br /> other action relating thereto". <br /> Motion made to dispense with reading of article. <br /> Motion to dispense with reading passes at 10:0�5 p.m. <br /> Motion passes at 10:05 p.m. <br /> Article 29 <br /> To see if the Town will vote to amend the Zoning Bylaw by adding to Subsection 174-79.B. a new Subsection <br /> (6) as,follows: <br /> "(6) Beginning at the shore of John's Pond at the northernmost corner of the parcel shown on the FY 2000 <br /> Mashpee Assessors' Maps as Map 58, BlocUl, <br /> Thence southeasterly along the northeastern property line of said parcel,to the sideline of Cayuga Avenue, <br /> Thence easterly in a straight line to the northernmost comer of Assessors' Map 58, Block 8; <br /> Thence southeasterly along the eastern property line of said parcel to its easternmost comer, <br /> Thence easterly along the northern property line of Assessors' Map 58, Block 6 to the side line of Algonquin <br /> Avenue-, <br /> Thence southeasterly in a straight line to the northernmost comer of Assessors' Map 66, Block 6, which is on <br /> the eastern side line of Old Barnstable Road; <br /> Thence southeasterly along the northern property line of said parcel to the side line of Hiacoomes Circle; <br /> 29 <br />
