restriction and/or easement, or take any other action relating thereto. <br /> Submitted by Open Space Committee <br /> Explanation-, This article would authorize the Board of Selectmen and Conservation Commission to sell a <br /> conservation restriction or management easement to the Massachusetts Division of Fisheries & Wildlife on a <br /> parcel of land purchased by the Town with Land Bank funds. This restriction/easement was anticipated at the <br /> time of the October 2000 Town Meeting, but the Town has since learned that it cannot be done without <br /> approval by the state legislature under the requirements of Article 97 of the state constitution. The October <br /> Town Meeting article did not authorize the Selectmen to seek the necessary legislation.
