Motion-, I move that Article 26 be indefinitely postpone. <br /> Motion to indefinitely postpone passes at 10:08 p.m. <br /> Article 27 <br /> To see if the Town will vote to authorize a revolving COA Account through the Town <br /> Accountant's office in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 44,Section 53E <br /> 1/2 to be expended under the direction of the Council on Aging, in order to place anticipated <br /> revenues collected from program income which shall be used to further the operation of <br /> programs under the Council on Aging, and to establish the limit on expenditures from said <br /> account for Fiscal, Year 20O at $15,000.00, or to take any other action relating thereto. <br /> Submitted by Petition <br /> Explanation: Revolving account is required in order to receive and disburse funds generated <br /> through programs supported by such revolving funds such as senior trips and educational <br /> program staff. Revenues must be used to offset expenses of these programs. <br /> Anticipated Budget: <br /> Revenues $1500 <br /> Expenditures $1500 <br /> This account will be managed by the Council on Aging through the director of COA. <br /> Motion made by Arthur Weintstein, <br /> Motion: I move that Article 27 by indefinitely postponed. <br /> Motion to indefinitely postpone passes at 10:09 p.m. <br /> Article 28 <br /> To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate, borrow or transfer from available funds <br /> $375,000 to the Town of Mash pee Ballfield Account, to be expended under the direction of the <br /> Town Manager, for construction of ballfields, parking lots, and other facility improvements at <br /> Heritage Park, or take any other action relating thereto. <br /> Submitted by Petition <br /> Explanation: This article would fund the expansion of recreational facilities at Heritage Park. <br /> This expansion is based on the master plan developed for the site by CDM Inc. under the <br /> direction of the Town. A small portion of this Master Plan was completed using the $200,000 <br /> ,approved at the May 2000 Annual Town Meeting. The funding provided by this Article, if <br /> approved, would allow further implementation of the Master Plan through the construction of <br /> additional playing fields, a parking lot, and installation of an irrigation vvell. <br /> Motion made by Scott Sousa. <br /> 61 <br />
