Motion made by Bill Cook. <br /> Motion-, I move the Town vote to authorize and empower the Board of Selectmen to prepare a <br /> plan laying out and defining Quashnet Woods Drive and Grant Breen Dive and to accomplish <br /> said purpose and for expenses incidental and related thereto, the Town vote to appropriate or <br /> transfer from revenue available for appropriation $5,0 to the Quashnet Woods Drive and Grant <br /> Breen Drive Roadways account. <br /> Moderator: Motion needs a 2/3rds vote. <br /> Motion passes at 10:05 p.m. <br /> Article 25 <br /> To see if the town will vote to create a part-time 19 hour Custodian position at grade 11, step <br /> I under the Council on Aging and further to see if the town will vote to raise and appropriate or <br /> transfer from available funds $10,T 15.8 with said funds to be distributed as follows: <br /> $10,562.67 in salary, $ 153.16 to the Medicare Account, and to take any other action relating <br /> thereto. <br /> Submitted by Petition <br /> Explanation: This request is to create a part-time Custodian position at the Council on Aging <br /> and to cover the additional cost of fringe benefits should the position be funded. This position is <br /> requested to improve overall efficiency and improve maintenance and custodial services at the <br /> expanded Council on Aging <br /> Motion made by Arthur Weinstein. <br /> Motion: I move the Article be indefinitely postponed. <br /> Motion to indefinitely postponed passes at 10:0�7 p.m. <br /> Article 26 <br /> To see if the town will vote to create a part-time 16 hour Clerk/Receptionist position at Grade 11, <br /> Step I under the Council on Aging and further to see if the Town will vote to raise and <br /> appropriate or transfer from available funds $9,023.85 with said funds to be distributed as <br /> follows: $ 8,894.88 in Salary, $128.97 to the Medicare Account, and to take any other action <br /> relating thereto. <br /> Submitted by Petition <br /> Explanation: This request is to create a part-time Clerk/Receptionist position to work <br /> afternoons at Council on Aging and to cover the additional cost of fringe benefits should the <br /> position be funded. This is done to improve efficiency and promote continuity in the <br /> Reception/Clerical function at the council on Aging.
