He renovated the interior to provide an easier
and safer method for take-out food service. He mentioned that it's been a
difficult season since the pandemic started a year ago. The size of the sign
is 19.92 sq. ft. which is just under the zoning measurement requirement of
20 sq. ft., and does not require a ZBA hearing.
Mr. Furbush wanted to confirm the colors. Robb said that the colors are the
same as the original "Wicked" sign, which is gray and black. The material is
composite so it will not rust.
Miles noticed that the sign is overlapping the window casing. He thought
that the wording above could be eliminated and to shrink the sign to fit more
proportionate with the window casing.
Rob said that he would prefer to keep the sign as to form so he can get
visibility from customers that would be within the area of his restaurant and
Walgreens. Robb agreed that the sign could be more proportionate, but the
landlord would not make any structural changes.
Mr. Furbush read the definition of the Design Review Committee from the
Zoning Bylaws. He explained that the committee is advisory only. The
committee can only make suggestions.
1
