9 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> March 8, 2021 <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> Update, Discussion and Possible Action Relative to COVID-19: <br /> Two new cases have been confirmed today. The Superintendent of Schools has invited custodians in the first <br /> and second shift to participate in the vaccine program held at the Wampanoag Tribal Headquarters. <br /> Update, Discussion and Possible Action Relative to Wastewater Proiect(s): <br /> It is the recommendation of the Town Manager's Financial Team and of Bond Counsel to move forward with <br /> the Wastewater Plan for Phase I authorizing a Debt Exclusion Ballot Question to safeguard the project. <br /> Proposed language will be presented to the Board of Selectmen at their next meeting. <br /> Discussion and Approval of Spring Town Meeting: <br /> After reviewing options for the Spring Town Meeting, the Board of Selectmen agreed to conduct a hybrid <br /> Town Meeting in May indoors with the use of a small tent for those who wish to participate outdoors. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Sherman to move forward with a hybrid Town Meeting on Monday, May 3, <br /> 2021 at 7:00 p.m. in the most cost-effective manner. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman O'Hara. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Roll Call Vote: <br /> Selectman Cotton, yes Selectman O'Hara,yes Selectman Sherman, yes <br /> Selectman Gottlieb, yes Selectman Weeden, yes Opposed, none <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> Discussion and Approval of Temporary Beach Parking and Access Restrictions: <br /> A brief discussion followed regarding seasonal beach parking and access restrictions. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Gottlieb to continue the Temporary Beach Parking and Access Restrictions <br /> consistent with those adopted in 2020. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman O'Hara. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Roll Call Vote: <br /> Selectman Cotton,yes Selectman O'Hara,yes Selectman Sherman, yes <br /> Selectman Gottlieb, yes Selectman Weeden,yes Opposed, none <br />
