work is carried out within the building. in the Il- <br /> Indust:rial Zoning District . <br /> The Chairman recognized Petitioner, Tony Machado, AA <br /> Auto and Truck, who stated he has been at the 53 Bog Road <br /> location for over o-years . It has just recently cone to <br /> his attention. that the property is not zoned for the <br /> business that he conducts . <br /> Petitioner is attempting to acquire a special permit . <br /> As a point of clarificat-ion he asked if it is necessary to <br /> change all zoning in industrial a-rea.s . <br /> The Town Planner responded, "yes". it is necessary to <br /> change what is allowed within indu-s-trial zones . Spot <br />' zoning is not allowed. The only alternative would be a <br /> request to re-zone the property to one of the commercial <br /> zones . He agreed t-hi -i the .appropriate way to achieve <br /> the result and that the Board has expressed support of the <br /> Article. <br /> The Town Planner clarified that the indoor auto <br /> i establishment would be allowed by the bylaw through this <br /> change . - <br /> The- Petitioner stated there is - no salvage business . <br /> He does stoke vehicles for the District Attorney' s Office, <br /> Sandwich Police, and Mashpee Pollce.. Transportation of <br /> vehicles to and from Florida is also involved, there is <br /> some used car business, as well as temporary storage of <br /> vehicles that have been involved/damaged in accidents . <br /> Article submitted by the Planning Board amending <br /> various subsections of Section 174-45 . 1 and 17 -4 . H in <br /> order to 1) remove references to the no longer existing <br /> C1SV and C10 zoning districts; and ) remove a sentence <br /> regarding on street parking which conflicts with the <br /> parking bylaw amendments made at -the October 2003 Town <br /> Meeting; provide for a transfer of residential <br /> development rights into non-residential zoning districts <br /> under the standard specified in Subsections 17 4-4 D, 174- <br /> 46C3 through ; and 174-46H of the "open Space Incentive <br /> Development oSID bylaw; along with allowing the transferred <br /> residential units and not any other uses to be located - in <br /> third story by Special Permit from the Planning Board und'er <br /> the exi-sting commercial center zoning provisions of Section <br /> 174-45 . 1 . <br /> i <br />
