at Old Barnstable Road pyracantha . A plan has been n submitted to the Consulting Engineer for review. References were being made to a plan of land entitled, "Drainage Study Plan and Plan of Pond Location in Southport on Cape Cod, Southport Condominiums, Mash pee,, MA, dated August 20, 2003 . Reprised March 11, 2004 , New Drain Study" . References were being made to prior./current locations of catch basins, possible flooding issues, 100 yr. /25 yr. Storm events . Mr. Bonvie indicated the location of the additional catch basins . He rude reference to elevation 7920 stating the intention to, lower the water level approximately nine (9) to ten (10) inches.. This will be accomplished by swales leading to catch basins located in the ground. Be indicated that grate which will accommodate average storms . Should this grate fail, there is a second grate ten 10) ft . away at a higher elevation o-f one-half 1/2 ft. In the event of failure there will be storage within the pond, there are two outlets at the end of the pond with storage above . Mr. Bonvie stated the pond is -now designed at a 100- year storm event . He indicated the inlet which will serge to preserve the water level, stating the Golf Course Superintendent gill .ma] e a daily inspection of the pond area in order to maintain the desired pond elevation. In response to a question asked by Don Myers, Mr. Bonvie stated the pond is approximately six ) feet deep in the center with very shallow slopes . Mating reference to Mr.- Rowley comment letter, the Chairman noted mino,r areas of concern to be regrading, loam, seed, routine inspections especially in the fall and winter months, maintaining grates, heavy duty frames and corers on each of the two leaching pits . All of these concerns are to be included within the Decision for the Pond. Don Myers a,s ed if there would be a lock on the valve on the PVC pipe . Mr . Bonvie agreed this should be clone stating he would ma- a an. inspection. 13
