Reprised March 11, 2004 , New Drain Study" . <br /> References were being made to prior./current locations <br /> of catch basins, possible flooding issues, 100 yr. /25 yr. <br /> Storm events . <br /> Mr. Bonvie indicated the location of the additional <br /> catch basins . He rude reference to elevation 7920 stating <br /> the intention to, lower the water level approximately nine <br /> (9) to ten (10) inches.. This will be accomplished by <br /> swales leading to catch basins located in the ground. Be <br /> indicated that grate which will accommodate average storms . <br /> Should this grate fail, there is a second grate ten 10) <br /> ft . away at a higher elevation o-f one-half 1/2 ft. In <br /> the event of failure there will be storage within the pond, <br /> there are two outlets at the end of the pond with storage <br /> above . <br /> Mr. Bonvie stated the pond is -now designed at a 100- <br /> year storm event . He indicated the inlet which will serge <br /> to preserve the water level, stating the Golf Course <br /> Superintendent gill .ma] e a daily inspection of the pond <br /> area in order to maintain the desired pond elevation. <br /> In response to a question asked by Don Myers, Mr. <br /> Bonvie stated the pond is approximately six ) feet deep <br /> in the center with very shallow slopes . <br /> Mating reference to Mr.- Rowley comment letter, the <br /> Chairman noted mino,r areas of concern to be regrading, <br /> loam, seed, routine inspections especially in the fall and <br /> winter months, maintaining grates, heavy duty frames and <br /> corers on each of the two leaching pits . All of these <br /> concerns are to be included within the Decision for the <br /> Pond. <br /> Don Myers a,s ed if there would be a lock on the valve <br /> on the PVC pipe . Mr .
