He is in favor of the additional <br /> catch basins. <br /> He questioned/made references to the elevations, <br /> requesting revised elevations be provided after the <br /> regrading has been completed and before final approval is <br /> made. <br /> He also asked about the levels of the pond, when <br /> lowered, noting possible differences (vertical/horizontal ) <br /> on various sides of the pond depending on the grading. <br /> Mr. Bonvie clarified the contour lines as shown on the + <br /> plan, average elevation of the water when outlet drains are <br /> in use, and the elevation 7920 of 62703 . <br /> The- speaker then inquired as to the angle of the drain <br /> pipes, asking if this information is still applicable; to <br /> which Mr. Bonie answered, "No, it is -not"' due to the new <br /> design/catch basins . <br /> At this point the Town Planner provided a cross <br /> section plan entitled, "As-Built Plan and Profile of Man <br /> Nude Pond within Southport on Cape Cod, Condominium, <br /> Mashpee, MA, dated November 28, 2003; Revised January 9, <br /> 2004". <br /> Mai Malcomson Asked if the ground elevation of the <br /> foundations of the condomin- ium units surrounding the pond <br /> have a lower elevation than the level of the pond. His <br /> concern being potential for flooding of those basements <br /> surrounding the pond <br /> r. Bonvie replied there will be no water, issue. as the <br /> gradings have' been designed. and will be constructed to <br /> prevent an. r water issues. <br /> The speaker requested the Board to stipulate <br /> certification by the engineer respons-ible for the design of <br /> the pond verifying it has been constructed in accordance <br /> with the design. <br /> The Board agreed that a certification is in order to <br /> guarantee that construction has been completed as designed. <br /> 1 <br />
