Lowell Road -into Casper circle.. <br /> Mr. Dorris further explained that Great Hair Road is. <br /> cons-idered. to be - n ancient. .way half of which i%s located -on <br /> Town ow,fted land; the -other half is owned by Mr-. Lacava. <br /> Mr. Morris is under the impres-sion that should the _ <br /> Plan-ring. Board approve Lowell Road access, the private <br /> owners, would be happy that Great Hay Road, would rema-in <br /> .unpaved. <br /> The Town Planner stated a DPW approval for curb cut <br /> would be requited in order t build the road and make the <br /> connection. He mentioned. traffic safety concerns <br /> assoc-iarted with the Lowell :Road access. He expressed his <br /> preference for Old Barnstable Road as the- current traffic <br /> pattern is not as heaver'. He also mentioned concern with are <br /> intersection at the golf cart path. The landscapi.ng is <br /> 1cated on Town owned land. <br /> r. Morris stated he had received a license from t-he <br /> Board of selectmen with regard to landscape design in front <br /> of his home. He reiterat.ed the linear footage would be <br /> less accessing Lowell load., as -well as the need for the <br /> installation of fewer drainage. .structures . <br /> Th-e Town Planner asked about the golf cart paths, as <br /> they would biro .the same line of traffic. <br /> Mr. Slavinsky explained there is a golf cart easement,. <br /> l -feet on both sides of Lowell Road. <br /> Dennis Balarini expressed concern that the consulting . <br /> Engineer has not reviewed the proposals and therefore h- <br /> not had the opportunity to present his input to the Board. <br /> The Town Planner - ommented on t-he width of the right <br /> of way, which is the- width of pavement, there are no <br /> shoulders shown at the drainage structures . He asked about <br /> utility easements. <br /> 12 <br />
