The Town Planner deferred to the Consulting Engineer <br /> regarding the retaining wall on Leisure Green Drive and the <br /> notation that there is to be a graded slope behind the wall <br /> of 4 to 1 . <br /> The Consulting Engineer agreed the slope pitch, as <br /> noted on the plan, meets with his approval. <br /> Page 7 of the Plan in .Profile should be clarified <br /> regarding tree preservation - stripping out of soil lo- <br /> feet around the proposed leaching areas . He asked if this <br /> was a reference to the structure or the stone around the <br /> leaching areas. <br /> The Consulting Engineer explained the leaching <br /> facility is located below the lime of the silt,' or --feet <br /> below the surface. If it is found to be necessary to strip <br /> out material, it .must be carr.ied out far enough so- that the _ <br /> leaching facility and the surr'oun ding soli remains in good <br /> condition. <br /> n alternative would be to. drop the entire system <br /> deeper, a decision that could be made in the field. He <br /> - suggested a notation be made on the plan that the area <br /> either b stripped or altered. <br /> The Town Planner suggested Conditions be included in <br /> the 1 eciSion regarding determinations being -made in the <br /> field as well as amending the mote on the plan . <br /> It was agreed that the Town. Planner and Consulting <br /> Engineer would work together to amend the language on the <br /> plan. <br /> The Chairman determined the Consulting Engineer has <br /> not yet received drainage calculations for the roadway from <br /> RIM Engineering; and that he has not yet had an opportunity <br /> to review the reprised plans . <br /> The Consulting Engineer suggested an arlorist should <br /> determine the size of the wells surrounding those trees <br /> that are to be salvaged, as well as the distance from the <br /> base of the tree the protective fencing should be installed <br /> in order to protect the root system and canopy of the tree. <br /> These limits should be established and noted on the plan. <br />
