We should understand that the 40B housing <br /> proposal projects are not granted permits by the Zoning <br /> Board of Appeals automatically, and that the Town should be <br /> very directly involved in the process of friendly <br /> negotiations with the proposed developments. The Town <br /> should keep a close review of those projects currently in <br /> the D I process and communicate closely with the Gape God <br /> Commission' on the- review process. The Gommiss,ion looks for <br /> and needs to know that the Town is willing to accept from <br /> proposed development projects..." <br /> At this point [ s-. She spoke to her concerns regarding the. <br /> rate of growth of t'he Town, traffic issues, and commercial <br /> and residential construction.. she expressed her concern to <br /> protect natural resources and the water supply. <br /> Mary Gordon - Asked for clarification -of a moratorium <br /> on occupancy permits. <br /> Beverly Kane responded, "There is no moratorium on <br /> occupancy permits". <br /> Richard Riley, 51 Park Place Way - Stated he feels the <br /> timing of this matter to be suspect . He stated, <br /> "Personally, I think it' s a 'done deal' and that you need <br /> to hold these hearings so that later on you can -say, `We <br /> held these hearings' . I think you are doing the wrong <br /> thing. " <br /> 6 <br />
