The Town Planner further clarified that -i and <br /> Brynts Cove Roads remain open as public ways 'under <br /> Planning Board Special Permit. He did tale issue with the <br /> mound of dirt located on Simons Road, which is- a public way <br /> access. <br /> The Chairman stated she feels said mounds should b <br /> removed, to which Mr. Besse ag-reed. <br /> Scott Dravis., 83 Sampsons Mill Road - Inquired as t <br /> the access of Simons Load and changing the character of an <br /> ancient war to accommodate public traffic. He stated there <br /> was quite a lot of heavy traffic on Simons Road during the <br /> construction of the golf course resulting in a significant <br /> degrading of the roadway. No serious attempts have been <br /> made to correct/repair the damage. He- is quite concerned <br /> with any additional traffic on Simons Road, off of Sampsons <br /> Mill Road. <br /> Chris Tufts, 76 Sampsons Mill Road - Inquired how far <br /> the ancient way would be reconfigured. And the smallest <br /> lot size in cluster housing. <br /> Mike Tuc-ker, Engineer responded approximately40/50 <br /> feet to the east . <br /> The flown Planner stated 15, 000 square feet is the <br /> smallest in a cluster. <br /> There being no further public comment the Chairman <br /> determined there remain several issues that need to be <br /> further addressed. <br /> The Chairman then read the following letter dated <br /> August 30, 2004 into the Record: Addressed to the Town of <br /> Ma-shpee Planning Board, "Than-k you for the Public Dearing <br /> Notice but we believe the notice should have been seat to a <br /> wider population at Willowbend as the use of open space - <br /> affects all. Could you please read into the record that we <br /> are opposed to the application by Will.owbend Country Club, <br /> Inc. to create 8 new building lots. The rationale for the <br /> opposition is that it would eliminate current free <br /> recreational space and change the vista on willowb nd <br /> Drive. One of the reasons we purchased our prope-rties was <br /> the free recreational space within walking distance from <br /> our homes . we also would strongly object if the topography <br /> of the property is turned into house lots that would be <br />
