Reeves stated the Association is agreeable to <br /> changing the street name to Abbey Lane. <br /> The Town clerk clarified when a 911 call is made the <br /> address, and corresponding phone number are on file in order <br /> to avoid confusion. <br /> The chairman/Board expressed a preference for the <br /> street name change. The Town Clerk was in -agreement, and <br /> the Association agreed to Abbey Lane. <br /> Henry Warack, 51 Stratford Pond -- Inquired as to the <br /> purpose of the change in current address system to specific <br /> street -names . <br /> The Town Clerk responded that the Board of selectmen <br /> had appointed a number of Town officials to an addressing <br /> committee. A number- of the Condominium complexes have <br /> experienced difficulty getting a public safety official to <br /> the location in the event of a 911 call. The address <br /> change issue has been put into effect as a public safety <br /> matter.
