Mr. Bornstein has agreed to provide all <br /> engineering services associated with said relocation. <br /> According to Mr. O' Malley, Mr. Bornstein is taking the <br /> position that the Planning Board has approved the current <br /> location of the post office. <br /> The Chairman then recognized Mr. Bornstein, who <br /> claimed he had a recorded plan, signed by the Planning <br /> Board (19 and a Building Permit showing the approved <br /> location of the post office. <br /> Mr. Bornstein suggested additional parking spaces be <br /> constructed as a solution in order to eliminate any <br /> traffic/back-up problems. <br /> The Town Planner a-s ked if there 'had been a Planning <br /> Board decision approvinq the location of the post office. <br /> Mr. Bornstein responded that the Planning Board (at <br /> the time) had made a site visit with the original fourteen <br /> (1 homeowners, prior to construction, in order to <br /> determine location of the clubhouse, units, and post office <br /> locations. <br /> Mr. Bornstein made reference to a plan dated October <br /> 1999, ""Plan- of Phases at windchime Point condominium., <br /> Mashpee, MA, prepared for Windchime Point"'. He noted the <br /> units in Phase I are quite some distance from the original <br /> fourteen 1 units. He suggested that this matter had <br /> been discussed and agreed upon- five years ago. He argued <br /> this area had been staked, walked, and them constru. ted <br /> after much discussion. He reiterated the traffic concerns <br /> could be addressed by the addition of parking spaces . <br /> Steve Dolan expressed safety concerns regarding <br /> traffic at the Roche Bros . i-ntersection. <br /> Lee Gurney suggested this matter be researched further <br /> rega-rding safety issues. She expressed concern regarding <br /> the construction entrance. <br /> Mr. Bornstein responded by stating said entrance would <br /> be -closed of=f within the next five or six months . He <br /> stated the entrance would be eliminated, trees would be <br /> planted and the area would be revegetated. <br />
