The Chairman clarified' her suggestion is to focus o <br /> those portions of the watersheds located within the Town of <br /> is hpee, and that any traffic related improvements to the <br /> Rotary would have an effect on roadways located in other <br /> towns. <br /> She proposed the following five districts of concern: <br /> Land Use and Growth Management; Water Resources <br /> Transportation; Wildlife, Natural Habitat, Cultural, <br /> Historical, and Archeological; and Affordable Housing. <br /> The Chairman reported on an e-mail received from John' <br /> Lipman, who is requesting another meeting with the Cape Cod <br /> Commission to discuss those areas and districts suggested <br /> o-r nomination. <br /> Dennis Balzarin' i suggested the Board follow those <br /> goals identified within the Local Comprehensive Plan <br /> whenever possible. <br /> Brio Smith supports the suggestion to arrange for <br /> workshop meetings with other Town Boards/Committees for <br /> input . He suggested the Board focus on these issues as <br /> best as possible t alleviate an influx of questions -and <br /> concerns that will be directed towards the Planning Staff <br /> on ,a daily basis . He stressed the importance of }peeping <br /> Town Boards Committees informed. <br /> The Town Planner suggested the Board specify ghat <br /> exactly is being proposed, guidelines for development, and <br /> the regulatory outcome of a DCPC. He commented a DCPC <br /> would have no bearing on a plan (regulation) for the <br /> Rotary. <br /> Steve Dolan asked if nominating the entire Town would <br /> be too -much to accomplish. <br /> There was a review of the Town of Bourne Guidelines, <br /> and some discussion regarding exe ti n -DRT process . <br /> The Chairman identified the following questions that <br /> mast be addressed. An explanation of why an area has been <br /> identified for nomination, a description of problems <br /> associated with inappropriate development, and the gains <br /> that would be realized by additional planning or regulatory <br /> control of the area. <br /> 11 <br />
