Kerrigan reported that both the residents and <br /> Board of Trustees at Windchime Point have unanimously voted <br /> their preference that the post office bu,ilding remain at <br /> its present location with. modifications to accommodate <br /> additional parallel parking and crosswalk. <br /> The Chairman reminded Applicant that the present <br /> structure location is in vio'lation.. <br /> Dennis Balarini reminded Applicant this discussion <br /> has been ongping for quite sometime and that the- Planning <br /> Board has made it quite clear they' do not approve of the <br /> location due to factors of safety concerns . <br /> He also questioned Applicant' s position in this. matter <br /> a's there have been many revised plans filed with the Board <br /> suggesting alternate locations; he also reminded Applicant <br /> that the Board is not in favor of any tree removal to <br /> accommodate parking as this would mean disturbing the <br /> buffer zone. <br /> Ms. Kerrigan responded she was under the impression <br /> that there is no other option to consider, the proposal is <br /> to expand parking at the present location. removing only <br /> those trees necessary to do so. <br /> The chairman clarified the Board -has never accepted -or <br /> agreed that "there are no other options", stating the Board <br /> and Applicant have been doing just that., exploring all <br /> possible options, for the past several months. She <br /> reiterated the structure at the current location was <br /> constructed illegally. <br /> 2 <br />
