F
The appointed hour having arrived the Chairman read
the Hearing Notice and called the Public Hearing in this
matter to order.
The Chairman recognized Attorney Michael Ford,
representing the Applicant.
Attorney Ford commented he has not yet had the
opportunity to review the Consulting Engineer' s comments.
He then provided background information fo.r the proposed
project being a realigrunent of a 1985 subdivision.
Applicant has cooperated with the Town and landowners for
the layout and construction of the Commercial Street
connector.
At this point Attorney Ford provided a sketch
entitled, "Commercial Street Connector Road" . The
Applicant has agreed to a change in the layout of Komar
Drive in one section.
Attorney Fora submitted a Definitive Plan showing said
change to F omar -Drive pertaining to Lots 15, 16, and- l7 .
The Town Planner interjected, stating the lot lines
have already been changed approved by the subdivision plan
that created Commercial Street. The issue before the Board
is the road design for Romar Drive.
Attorney Ford made references to and questioned that
section of the Zoning Bylaw that refers to „new
subdivisions" with reference to drain-ache issues .
Attorney Ford stated Applicant is realigning a portion
of the road :as a result of having donated property to the
Town in order to enable the connector road to ruin through
their property.
The Town Planner suggested a clarification of
applicable regulations be determined prior to the next
meeting. He noted the subdivision plan is being approved
and modified, and that the entire roadway would be subject
to current zoning.
There being no further Board/Staff or Public comment
the Chairman entertained a motion.
3
