Mr. O'Malley stated he ha-s not received a copy. <br /> Mr. Rowley informed the Board that he has not received <br /> a copy of plans. <br /> The chairman suggested Applicant be reminded that <br /> materials must be submitted to the Planning Board one wee] <br /> prior to appearing before the Board to ensure sufficient <br /> time for review. <br /> . O'Malley requested the opportunity to state his <br /> position in this matter: Mr. Bornstein erected the post <br /> office at its current location in 1999, at h-ich tine he <br /> obtained a building permit from the Building Inspector, <br /> neglecting however to obtain Planning Board approval . The <br /> Planning Board brought this matter to the attention of the <br /> Association in October 2003, at which point- it had become <br /> apparent to the Planning Board to address the safety issue. <br /> Mr. Bornstein agreed to obtain the engineering approvals <br /> and submit plans for relocartion of the post office to the <br /> Planning Board. Mr. Bornstein agreed to assume all costs <br /> and responsibilities for obtaining approval from the Board. <br /> Said agreement was made over one year ago. An <br /> agreement had been reached to relocate the post office <br /> nearer to the clubhouse. At this point Mr. Bornstein <br /> informed the Boardssocia-tion that he would not assume the <br /> costs associated- with said relocation of the post office, <br /> and claimed that the Planning Board had approved the post <br /> office at its current location in 1999. <br /> Mr. Bornstein- has made a thorough search through the <br /> Planning Board Minutes, but has not found any evidence to <br /> support his position that the Planning Board had granted <br /> approval for the original location of the post office. <br /> r. O' Malley expressed his frustration in this regard <br /> and suggested the Planning Board present Mr. Bornstein with <br /> a timeline within which to complete the work. He further <br /> suggested the Public Hearing be continued for four (4 ) <br /> weeks at which point Mr. Bornstein be required to submit an <br /> acceptable plan to the -Board and Consulting Engineer for <br /> approval .
