Signature: Beverly Kane, DOnnis Bal arini, Lee Gurney, Steve Dolan, and John Halachis. .Road Design Approval Gouto Management Group - Quippish Road, South of Rte. 28 The Chairman called this matter to order and recognized Selectman Taylor, who addressed the Board stating he was representing the Board of Selectmen. Selectman Taylor explained there had been some discussion regarding traffic concerns on Route 28 at a recent Selectmen' s Meeting. The Board of Selectmen has expressed major concern with the proposed project and the impacts it would have in this already congested area. This matter will be discussed further by the Board of Selectmen* Selectman Taylor wanted the Planning Boa-rd to be aware of the concerns raised by the lectr-en regarding- impacts to traffic and the quality of life within the Town. He suggested the Planning Board and Board of Selectmen work together with regards to this proposed project to find some solution to these concerns . The Chairman stated she feels it would be appr-opriate to refer this matter to the Cape Cod Commission as a Di-scretionary -Referral. She suggested this is a regional concern, as the Town of Barnstable owns part of the roadway. Dennis Bai arini reported that he had made an inspection of the area and agrees with resident concerns voiced at. prior meeting, as well as s fety emergenc r concerns . The Town Planner made reference to a letter received from the residents of Quippish Road dated April 21, 2005, which the Chairman read into the Record. .Request for Discretionary Referral - In reference to April 20, 2005 Planning Board Meeting on the matter as follows: Couto Management Group, LLC: To alter a re- existing non-conforming structure and building a Dunkin Donuts and fire retail unit's in C=2 district located at Falmouth Road, Rte. 28, Mashpee, MA (Map 55 Parcel 7) .
