of the substantial completion of the Flagship -Self storage
site at 490 Main street, Route 10-, Mashpee, MA. We set
all horizontal and vertical controls for the site including
exact building location drainage structures, lighting,
parking and grading. The installation of the -site work
including the septic system processed gravel base and lase
course of pavement is complete and accurate according to
the approved ,plan. The finished course of pavement is
planned to be- applied within a few weeks. "" Signed Daniel
A. Ojala, PLS, EIT, Down Cape Engineering, Inc.
Mr. fowler stated he feels said letter does not
address the issue at hand because the engineer does not
state he was actually present to observe the contractor
and/or contractor accuracy. The drainage and pipe are
usually exposed for inspection. In this matter, everything
had been covered prior to request for the first in-spection.
He explained that the final course of pavement has been put
down.
It was the consensus of the Board to require Applicant
to satisfy Mr. Rowley'-s concerns in this ratter; if
Applicant' s engineer is unable to verify the contractor
or1 was completed according to plan detail, Applicant will
be required to appear before the Board at the next
scheduled meeting.
With regard to the issue of plantings, Mr. Raleigh
reported the work has been- completed in accordance with the
approvals of Mary LeBlanc, Design Review Committee, and
Sharon Rooney, Cape Cod Commission.
The Town Planner reported he is in receipt of the
final Certificate of Compliance from the Cape Cod
Commission.
The Cape Cod Commission. ha.s required said Landscape
Plan as mitigation for underbrush that had been cleared
from the buffer area.
The Town Planner suggested the Building Inspector be.
notified that this ratter is in order and that an occupancy
Permit be issued (unless Applicant is required to appear at
the June l't meeting) .
MOTION: Dennis Bal arini made a Lotion to further
continue the Public Hearing in the Southport matter to
15
