e discuss which trees could be removed. She stated there ks safety factor/concern involved, as well as the preservation of trees. She is in favor of removing those trees that pose a danger to homeowners. ` The Towh Planner suggested the Landscape Committee be allowed to determine the fate of the cluster of the three trees in question; and that the homeowners' wishes be respected. There being no further discussion the chairman entertained a Motion be made regarding the three trees located on Drive:r Lane. MOTION: Dennis Bal -arini made a Motion to approve the removal of those three { trees, two white pines and one oak tree, located on Driven Lame in order to address safety issues and concerns raised by the homeowners located at Building 207 . There being no Second to the Motion made by Mr. Balzarini, the Chairman determined the Motion had failed. The Town Planner suggested the Board Members make a site visit in order to access the situation. (The majority of the ]hoard Members expressed concern for removing healthy trees in the evert they right fall during a storm event . ) Dennis Balzarini , Lee Gurney, and Myrna Nuey volunteered to mare an inspection of the area in question. The Town Planner made reference to the condition of the edge of forest, dead trees, brush, limbs, etc. He suggested that dead materials within 10-feet of the edge be removed. Be specified the underbrush should not be disturbed. The Board agreed, no further than to-feet could be cleaned, and that no underbrush is to be disturbed. Gail Barnes provided photographs o,f an oak tree that has been damaged by the contractors located on 3 PGA Lame that had been marked for preservation. She noted there was no snow fencing or supervision on the site to protect the trees . 17
