to do so should now be assumed by the Developer, not the
homeowner.
Myrna Duey stated that after inspection, she feels the
trees being referred to on Mr. Maloney' s s property are in
fact a safety concern and should be removed.
It was the general consensus of the Board that
determination o-f financial responsibility was not in their
jurisdiction and suggested this matter be discussed and
resolved with the Developer.
t this point Mr. Bon- vie noted that the trees under
discussion had been flagged to be s°aved on the approved
plan and that measures had been taken to do so. The 'Town
Planner agreed that in this instance the Developer had
conformed to Planning Board instruction at the time, which
was to preserve those trees regardless -of the proximity t
the buildings .
Mr. Bonie suggested he meet with the concerned residents
and the Association in order to make an attempt to resolve
this (financial) responsibility/matter; to which the Board
agreed and recognized as a cooperative effort on the part
f the Developer.
Gail Barnes, Par 'Three Court - Recognized this matter
a .a learning experience for everyone involved. In going
forward with the development she recommended to the
Developer that the arborist be invited included to walk the
site when making determinations as to identifying those
trees for preservation as well as for removal . Both the
Developer and the Planning Board agreed this was an
excellent suggestion to be carried forth.
Brenda, Halfond, Pine HillBlvd. - Made reference to
the earlier statements made to- the "learning experience"'
stating for the Record, "Mr. Bonvi e already }anew, everyone
else lea.rned. "
Jim 1cCorm'icl , E ecutive Drive - Suggested that the
two Planning Board Members ers who made are inspection and
subsequent recommendations/evaluation to the Board a-re not
qualified to do so with reference to landscaping and hazard
issues. He -suggested a professional opinion in this matter
be obtained.
1.1
