John Halachis stated he feels the Board has covered <br /> all aspects of this matter, that the community is in <br /> support of a D PC nomination, and that the Board should <br /> continue moving forward. <br /> The Chairman suggested to the Board that a motion <br /> would be in order to vote to submit, .with the condition <br /> that the actual submission ill not take place until such <br /> time as the Hoard has been provided with written comments <br /> from the Board of Selectmen. <br /> Lee Gurney suggested the Plah ring Board wait a <br /> reasonable amount of time to receive such comments from the <br /> Board of selectmen and if they are not forthcoming to move <br /> forward and submit the nomination to the Cape Cod <br /> Commission. <br /> The Town Planner suggested the Planning Board gait for <br /> Board of selectmen support as well as additional discussion <br /> with the Board of Health. <br /> LOTION: Dennis Balarini made a Lotion to submit the <br /> DCPC nomination, entitled July 6, 2005 Draft, to the Cape <br /> Cod Commission after the date of August 3, 2005, pending <br /> receipt of written comments prepared by the Board of <br /> Selectmen. (No second or Mote was taken on this Lotion) <br /> t this point the Chairman recognized the following <br /> members of the Public wishing to speak and make comment <br /> Mark Ducarm - spoke to the issue of exemptions, <br /> stating t-he major developers will be exempt and that they <br /> are responsible for .impacting the Town the most. on a <br /> personal level he stated he has spent three years finding a <br /> commercial property to develop. He stated tonight' s <br /> meeting affects the lives of ten existing employees and the <br /> potential of another ten. He does not understand the <br /> Intent of the DCP . He -spoke to the matter of surrounding <br /> towns taking some responsibility for water concerns . He <br /> suggested it would be the independent <br /> developers/contractors who will be restricted if the DCPC <br /> does forward. <br /> Joan Luse - Stated she has addressed the Planning <br /> Board a number of times with regard to the issue of a DPC. <br /> 1 <br />
