Public Hearing is- scheduled for next week regarding <br /> the proposed 1 -lot o-B small lot subdivisi n that is <br /> basically located within the Town of Mashpee, and will have <br /> significant water/traffic .impacts . <br /> The Town Planner made references to the plan <br /> indicating the location of the proposed subdivision, and <br /> the Barnstable/Mashpee Town lines . The plan shows one curb <br /> cut on route 28 and two on Noisy Hole Fo.ad. There wa-s some <br /> discussion regarding- the impacts upon the Town of Mashpee <br /> and the fact that the Mashpee Fire Department Is closer and <br /> would be called upon in an emergency. references- were made <br /> to the location of the wells and proposed sewer treatment <br /> plant . <br /> There has been no traffic or water quality studies <br /> made to date. Barnstable will be seeking comments/input at <br /> the Public Hearing in order to determine what will be <br /> included in these two studies . The HD has p .ovided a site <br /> approval letter. <br /> The Chairman suggested this information be forwarded <br /> to the Water District Board for their informati n review. <br /> There was some discussion regarding impacts to <br /> Shoestring Bay. <br /> The Chairman agreed to compose a letter to the <br /> Chairman of the Barnstable Zoning Board of Appeals stating <br /> that Mashpee Planning Board has significant concerns with <br /> this proposal, especially with regard to water quality <br /> protection. <br /> Discussion <br /> Historic District - status <br /> The Town Planner informed the Board of a grant <br /> received from the County in the amount of $12, 000 . 00 to be <br /> used to hire a consultant , <br /> Correspondence <br /> The Town Planner informed the Board of a letter <br /> received from a Southport resident expressing 'concern for <br /> the condition of Leisure Green. <br /> 11 <br />
