Joe and Lisa Joe Certificate of Title: 201572 <br /> 47 Monahansett Road Plan#: 11408-22 <br /> (Map 123 Parcel 102) Lot#: 13 <br /> Mashpee, MA 02649 <br /> A Petition was filed on February 24, 2014 by Christopher Joe and Lisa Joe <br /> requesting a Written Finding under Article V §174-17 of the Zoning By-laws and M.G.L. <br /> Chapter 40A §6 concerning continuance, extension or alteration of a pre-existing, non- <br /> conforming structure to allow for construction of a new single family dwelling on property <br /> located in an R-3 Zoning District at 47 Monahansett Road,(Map 123 Parcel 102),Mashpee, <br /> MA. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws <br /> Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, a newspaper of <br /> general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on March 7, 2014 and March 14,2014 a copy <br /> of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> The Petition was re-scheduled from Wednesday March 26, 2014 public hearings to <br /> allow for a full member Board. <br /> Public Hearings were held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on <br /> Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at which time the following members of the Board of Appeals <br /> were present and acting throughout;Chairman,Jonathan Furbush,Vice Chairman,William <br /> A. Blaisdell, Board Members, James Reiffarth and Richard Jodka, and Associate Member <br /> Scott Goldstein. Building Commissioner, Richard Morgan was also present. <br /> The Mashpee Zoning Board of Appeals issues this Decision pursuant to the <br /> provisions of Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 40A §6 and the Town of Mashpee <br /> Zoning By-laws. <br /> Christopher Joe, homeowner, representing himself stated he owned the home <br /> located at 43 Monahansett for approximately 15 years with his sister and purchased the <br /> house to the left-47 Monahansett. The home belonged to the University of Notre Dame and <br /> was donated by the homeowners. His goal was to renovate the home, but there was <br /> extensive damage and it had not been used for the past 15 years. The existing foundation <br /> is approximately 1,400 square feet, and he wants to re-build a small Cape style home. Mr. <br /> Joe said in order to build the Cape style home, he would have to move further back and <br /> further forward because it's a narrow foundation. <br /> 1 <br />
