MOTION: Dennis-Balzarini road a Motion to continue the Public Dearing in <br /> this matter to February 20, 2008 at 7:05 p.m.; which Notion was duly seconded by <br /> Thomas O'Hara and so voted unanimously. <br /> Public Hearing <br /> Mashpee Commons LP-Jobs Fishing load <br /> Consider Approval of the Special Permit for the <br /> Commercial Project within the Mashpee Commons 40B Project <br /> The Chairman called this natter to order and recognized Douglas Storrs, who <br /> provided a brief overview of the proposed project: <br /> Chapter 40 state law provides for Affordable Housing. Applicant has gone <br /> through the Zoning Board of Appeal penr it application process, submitted in December <br /> Zoo , after having worked with them for the better part one-year prior to that date. <br /> Board of Appeals Special Permit was received for the entire Jobs Whiting Neighborhood <br /> which consists of 3 82-residential units ranging from small single-familyy-to multi--family <br /> townhouse. The project also contains 3 l-live/work-units which are residential above <br /> conunercia . <br /> The Planning Board, similar to the Cape Cod Commission, is reviewing under a <br /> Special Permit the first floor of the buildings. The live/work live/work buildings are located on fee <br /> simple lots. <br /> The Town Planner made reference to "'Mashpee Zoning By-Law Section 1 4i <br /> 4.C. Special.Permit Requirements"—Required Findings and required Application <br /> Materials. There are some parking issues that remain to be addressed. There is no <br /> specific landscaping plan, there is a proposed code being made at this point. Specific <br /> plans are to be required at later dates as this is to be a phased project. <br /> "Review of Mashpee Commons Jogs Fishing Commercial Project Relative a to <br /> Mashpee Planning Board Special Perrn.it Regulations'—Form and Content of <br /> Applications, most of the items have been submitted, minor comments related to <br /> available information as this is an overall rriatr plan to be completed in three future <br /> phases. Codes are intended to cover som-a items rather than specific plans at this point. <br /> "Review of Mashpee Commons Jobs Fishing Commercial Project Relative to the <br /> lcquirernents of ZoningBy-Law 1 4-4 .1 Commercial Centers'—Commentary under <br /> each section relative to this project and those items being addressed. <br /> The Town Planner suggested Applicant provide a letter specifying requested <br /> front, rear, and side setbacks for Planning Board consideration approv 1. <br /> 6 <br />
