Applicant proposed extending the road down the field to a <br /> cul-de-sac; not necessarily for use of a permanent open road, <br /> for use as access to emergency vehicles. <br /> Applicant spoke to the difficulties of developing the entire <br /> 1 -acres, as most inquiries have been made with an interest <br /> towards developing one or two acres for an individual business. <br /> The Town Planner suggested the request should be for a <br /> Waiver from the 0 0-foot cul-de-sac 1 imi.t. <br /> The Town Planner also reported that the DPW Director has <br /> indicated his opposition of the proposal as it prelates to <br /> possible use of Town owned land. a noted requirement of <br /> approval from the Board of Selectmen, at the very least, would <br /> be necessary for control/connection of the property. <br /> Applicant suggested the possibility of constructing a break <br /> away gate for emergency vehicle access. <br /> The Vice Chairman suggested Applicant conduct further <br /> research with the Fire Department for length of road <br /> requirements; and with the DPW Director as well . There was brief <br /> discussion about the possible connection with Echo Road <br /> development. (This matter concluded at 7: o p. . <br /> Approval Not Required <br /> Shirley Peters-Down Cape Engineering <br /> 206 Ashers Path West-Map 60, Block <br /> Endorsement of ANR Plan for Land Court <br /> The Chairman recognized Shirley Peters, who presented copies <br /> of a plan entitled, "Land Court Petition, Plan of Land in <br /> Mas pee, MA, prepared for Shirley Peters" . <br /> References were being made to the plan, with the Town <br /> Planner stating it appears to be an existing lot . <br /> Applicant stated originally the parcel had been two 2 <br /> separate lots which have been combined by the Town and <br /> resurveyed. She -noted that portion which has been Lana Courted; <br /> and that portion which she would like to file with Land Court. <br /> The Town Planner clarified an ANR plan implies endorsement <br /> of the access; the road does not Meet Planning Board standards; <br /> and therefor should not received AM approval. As existing Imes <br /> of the land, the plan does not require Planting Board signatures <br /> for recording. <br /> The Vice Chairman encouraged Applicant to file the plan with <br /> Land Court. <br /> Applicant stated this to be her desire, however she has been <br /> -6- <br />
