As indicated on <br /> the plan, with reference to the Core Road layout, one edge is the <br /> center line of the existing road. The people on the east side o <br /> the road have no rights to the new road. The Consulting Engineer <br /> has suggested that the Builder convey an access easement to all <br /> owners allowing them use of the new road, and to eliminate the <br /> old road. <br /> The Consulting Engineer reports that in some spots the old <br /> road is below the new road; in some spots it is above the new <br /> road; some minor erosion has occurred, <br /> (The Consulting Engineer, Charles Rowley, arrived at the <br /> Meeting at this point :oo p.m. <br /> The vice Chairman recognized Don Goodwin, 50 Cove Road, who <br /> addressed the issue of ownership. He stated there is no <br /> indication that any of the existing property owners or the new <br /> property owners will own the new goad. He also stated the <br /> existing property owners had no input in the (new) road <br /> design/construction. He also raised the issue of road <br /> maintenance. <br /> The Town Planner agreed the issue of road -maintenance is a <br /> concern. He stated the road would have to be constructed in <br /> compliance w2ith Planning Board standards; however, maintenance of <br /> said road after construction is not within Planning Board <br /> jurisdiction. <br /> -7- <br />
