There <br /> is some discussion as to which Minutes have or have not been approved or submitted <br /> at this point. It is decided to take up'the matter at the next Board Meeting. <br /> . <br /> Torn introduces a request to Chairman from the Selectman to name a representative to <br /> the Natural Resources Management Committee. After very brief discussion, Chairman <br /> F appoints Torn Fudala to be the Board's representative. Signatures make it official. <br /> Correspondence its the next order of business. There is a request by the Water District <br /> to amend an article regarding scenic roads. It is decided to put this matter on the <br /> agenda for the next meeting <br /> (NOTE: Somehow the discussion gets sidetracked and 1 was unable to follow <br /> along with the list of letters and memos. <br /> Torn Planner introduces maps relating to the relocate of an intersection at Lovell <br /> Road/Great Neck road. He states his intent to present this proposal to the Board of <br /> Selectmen on September 2 tb to see if they will finance the construction. There is <br /> discussion about recommendations from the city sub-committee. <br /> Torn talks about the Cape Cod Commission and how they are requiring a trip reduction <br /> litigation fee in effort to reduce trips by-20%. Torn notes the selectmen's disapproval in <br /> spending money on transit. He-sags that, instead, they want to give the money to the <br /> town for use in constructing sidewalks. <br /> i <br /> Motion is made by Beverly for the Planning Board to endorse a compromise to use trip <br /> reduction money for it's construction of a sidewalk by the town. Motion is seconded by <br /> Dennis and carries unanimously. <br /> Torn briefly mentions some items that will be on the agenda for the September 2th <br /> meeting. <br /> The meeting is officially adjourned at 1 :2 p.m. <br />
