r <br /> la hpee Planning Board <br /> November 1, 2000 <br /> Minutes <br /> Members Present: Dennis Bal arini, cleric, Martine i eijering, Beverly Dane, <br /> Steve Dolan, Associate Member <br /> Others Present: Tom Fudala, Town Planner, Charles Rowley,, Consulting <br /> Engineer, Nella Stevens, Board secretary <br /> Dennis Bal arini, acting Chairman, calls the public hearing portion of the meeting <br /> to order at :1 o p.m. <br /> 1 Echo Road; Man 19, Block 3 <br /> Alec Watt provided updated plans for Board review. <br /> Dennis asked if the parking spaces were noted in the plans. Torn Fudala <br /> mentioned that the parking spaces.are too small and that the drainage <br /> calculations must be corrected. Alec said that that those calculations could, and <br /> would, be fined. Dennis then inquired aboutAhe proposed well and wondered why <br /> ■ <br /> it was not noted on the plans. Alec agreed that is should be added to the plans. <br /> Next, Dennis mentioned that the storm water management doesn't meet by law <br /> regulations and must be changed. He also questioned the condition of the road. <br /> Alec and Ron Gangerni explained that the road is for personal use only. There <br /> was some discussion about this. Dennis inquired as to whether any chemical <br /> will be used that could leech into the ground. The response was no. Torn Fudala <br /> asked if the Board has a copy of the building plans and whether or not those _ <br /> plans had brought before o Design Review. The response was no, they had not. <br /> Torn Fudala inquired,as to the number of employees as it related to parking lot <br /> calculations. He determined that they needed fifteen spaces based on square <br /> footage standards. There was some discussion regarding the use of indoor i <br /> parking spaces. <br /> There wa some discussion about the type of material that will be stored in the <br /> facility. Ron said that in the containment area there would be no drains. Tom said <br /> that there are no restrictions on storing petroleum products. <br /> Tory had-questions about the water quality report and]andscap ingp lans. Ron <br /> explained about the use of buffer zones and bushes and said he will provide <br /> plans for that. There was a long discussion about the ucorridor' issue. . <br /> There was some discussion about the zoning by-law regarding the significant <br /> negative impact on wildlife and rare species. Alec provided a wildlife habitat <br /> assessment. <br />
